First off: Use Internet Explorer as a browser, so you can cut and paste information between the world and the website easily. Second, please use our buttons, such as Exit Page to navigate around the website and DO NOT USE the Forward and Back buttons on your browser.
When you enter a search to a product list for a category (or maybe a category plus a keyword) you will see summary information about the products or regions. To see more detail about it, simply select what you want to examine by clicking on
the small round radio button to the left of the images. On the product detail page you will see a full description of the item or region and up to 10 pictures. You can click on the pictures there, and see larger versions of them.
Also, from the product detail page, you can log or tp to the location of the product by clicking the Go to Product Location in World button.
The first thing you need to do here is register as a member. You can do that from the home page of the website.
Once registered you can add listings to advertise your product or region and include up to 10 pictures.
When you create a listing, you will see a listing named (for lack of a better name) New Listing! That is what you want to select and complete for the product or region you are working on.
Have a piece of paper and a pen handy. Go to the product in world, and download some pictures of it to your hard drive (set your camera to download 800 X 600 pngs--they work the best).
Then jot down the number of prims, permissions, and price for the item.
When on the Listing Setup page on this site, simply type in the information as needed from your notes. You don't have to supply much information at all if you don't want to, but the trick in generating a good listing is to take 30 seconds to jot down some things before you go to this website. You will find you can create a detailed listing in about 2 minutes if you do that.
One Last Comment: We have a URL tool you can pick up at Lions Den which will generate the proper code needed for someone to TP to the exact location of the item in world. However, this only works if you do not have a landing point set at your region, and if you never move the item on your land. So many have chosen to supply only the Region Name instead of the exact XYZ coordinates location of the items on the region.
Please don't use any other URL other than the URL generated by the URL tool we have provided--Other URL's won't work.
As always, these things are never finished, but we promise to keep at it! Thanks, Lion Ewry
